  3. "check out some sweet real estate deals"

    Do they supply the hip waders? (c;

  4. Good thinking , Jim... lol..... no , but you would need a houseboat , a 55 - foot long hawser to moor it to a cement block on the beach and a dingy to get to and fro at high tide.... tide drop is between 45 and 50 feet here in the Bay of Fundy... highest tides in the world......quite spectacular actually.....

  8. Love the pic! Would like to see that tide come in from a safe vantage point. That would be so interesting.
    The whole area looks absolutely fantastic. I really get in to all the shots that Quacky has taken of the town and wildlife and ocean.
    You all be happy and safe!

  9. We have a friend now living in Maine but you know who says it's too far to drive. Maybe some day we'll get there.

    Yeah, love to see that tide come in and go out.

  12. You have direct access to the ocean too , Cindy Anne , so you can easily understand how I get my "jollies "simply by being near it..... hearing it and smelling it.... great to hear from you again.

  13. Jim... why not put "you know who "on a plane to Portland , Maine........ and pick her up as you pass along I 95 ..... you are about 2 and a half hours from Saint John... then we can sit and watch tides come and go together.... we'll show you a great time to boot !!

  14. Actually she's willing to visit Maine but only if we fly part way then rent a car. I think I'd prefer driving all the way because we can pack the car and not worry what homeland security thinks about how much mouthwash I have with me. (c;

  15. Oh so true about the mouthwash bit , Jim....... recently three of your compatriots... good ole boys from the South .... were fined heavily and turned back for lying about not having firearms aboard when crossing the border... all had loaded guns hidden in their vehicules.... one good ole lad even had two loaded handguns and a loaded shotgun with backup clips plus a can of "bearspray ". I guess they thought they were on safari to Kenya.... think about it , Jim , as September is a great month up here !!

  16. Why is it that some of the same folks who believe in the right to bear arms just about everywhere go along with having their shampoo confiscated at the airport if it's more than 5 oz?

  17. You're swimming with a cigarette in your mouth??? **LOL**

  18. Remember the Marlboro Man , Jim ?...... well , I'm sort of an aquatic version of him I guess.... without the ten - gallon hat and the horse , of course !

  19. Let us hope there's no horse under you in that photo. (c;

  20. The only one that comes to mind in such a watery context , Jim , might be a hippopotamus.... from Greek " hippopotamos " river horse..... however , here I am in the ocean..... but then again why haggle over the plus or minus salt.... ... as it's all water anyways !! Have a great evening... and I see that you are now available for chat ..... something new I guess.

  21. I don't know how the chat thing happened. I never signed in for it. In the past chat attempts by me did little more than provide a totally unneeded headache so I've stayed away.

  22. Fluff just told me that it is simply an addition for those who wish to use it..... like yourself I think I shall steer clear of it.....
